Freedom Temple Ministries offers a wide variety of ministry activities to support our mission proclamation of winning the world for Christ by offering an effective and relevant ministry addressing the spiritual, social, and economic needs of the community. Listed below are the ministries that are provided.

All Access Youth Movement
All Access Youth Movement is the youth and young adult extension of Freedom Temple Ministries, geared toward preparing, equipping, and motivating youth and young adults in our local and surrounding communities to become effective leaders and responsible citizens. Throughout the year we have a host of activities, events, and projects to aid in the enrichment of our young people and to help them discover and develop their talents and gift areas in life. Ambassadors
The function of the Ambassadors Ministry is to provide an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance to the staff, members and guests of Freedom Temple Ministries by extending loving gestures of hospitality to all. The Ambassadors are to ensure that every person entering the church is greeted and that visitors are offered assistance as appropriate so that everyone feels important and welcome.
Altar Workers
This ministry ensures that those who respond to the Call of God, receive what they came to the altar desiring. Because this is such a critical ministry, those who participate in this ministry are appointed by the Pastor.
Men’s Fellowship
Our men’s ministry deals with the “real issues” of fear and insecurities that occur in the lives of men. An up close and personal atmosphere makes it very easy to open up and share with the other brothers present.
Children’s Ministry
The Children’s Ministry under the leadership of All Access is designated for children ages 4 to 9 years old. The curriculum, which is full of excitement and engagement, is age appropriate and designed to specifically meet the needs of all children.
Clothes Closet (Helping Hands)
Helping Hands clothes closet is a ministry that helps those who, for whatever reason, need clothing and shoes and without help would not be able to provide clothing and shoes for themselves and/or their families. In some cases, this help allows them to purchase food and pay other bills to sustain their lives and their integrity. Helping Hands clothing closet is more than a way to clothe people; it is a way to share the loving concern of God’s people for others and to share Jesus Christ’s love with a lost and/or needy world.
College Ministry
The intent of this ministry is to serve as a support based to all college student members as well as ensure a successful college experience both spiritually and socially. This ministry serves to enhance Freedom Temple’s presence on the college campus, as well as including them in the ministry of the church.
Drama Ministry
This Ministry is committed to encountering the more of God through the arts. They explore creative avenues for a biblical expression of our Christian walk with God. Their Ministry includes drama, set design, wardrobe, artistic design, mime, prophetic art, photography/camera, poetry, and writing.
Deacon’s Board
This ministry exists to minister to the Freedom Temple Ministries family by serving as a care group to our members and assisting the church and its members as necessary. This is an appointed position by the Pastor.
Deaconess Board
With particular emphasis placed on serving the church in a wide variety of important activities, The Deaconess assist in the sacraments of Holy Communion, Baptism, and The Care of the Sick and the Poor. This is an appointed position by the Pastor.
Finance Ministry
The Freedom Temple Finance team stewards the ministry’s resources and tracks the contributions to the ministry. This is an appointed position by the Pastor.
Freedom Economic Development Division (FEDD)
Freedom Economic Development Division (FEDD) serves as a directory comprised of entrepreneurs and existing business owners throughout our congregation. The knowledge of these services will prayerfully serve as a motivation for patronage to support our brothers and sisters who own businesses in the community.
Health Care Ministry
The Health Care Ministry provides information promoting awareness to sensitive health issues (breast cancer, diabetes, nutrition, high blood pressure, heart disease, etc.). Members of the Health Ministry react to health emergencies within the congregation with a quick, expert calmness and Christian compassion to soothe the anxieties and suffering of those stricken until professional care arrive.
Hospitality Ministry
The purpose of this ministry is to under gird and minister to the needs of the Pastor & Lady Crump and Guest Ministers in an attempt to make them more comfortable before, during, and after service.
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
This ministry approaches God on behalf of the Pastor, his family and the membership. In trusting the Lord fully and understanding that the solutions to any situation lie beyond our abilities, but not God’s. It is this recognition that releases the power of God to direct, protect and empower the Pastor with all that is needed to serve in and fulfill His will for the ministry of Freedom Temple Ministries. Consolidating our intercession into one group and seeking the will of God for our lives and the ministry of Jesus Christ is put into action weekly. These Prayer Warriors will pray continually and consistently for a great variety of needs.
Marriage Ministry
This ministry is an opportunity for couples to join together to strengthen their relationship with both their spouse and God. Various retreats and activities are planned to promote spiritual and social unity. The objectives of Marriage Ministry shall include, but not be limited to the following: Promotion God’s plan for marriage through teaching married couples what the Scriptures teach concerning Christian marriage; Helping individuals to come to a personal, saving knowledge of and trust in Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord, “teaching them to observe all things” that Christ commanded; Betterment of marital and family communications; Encouragement of couples and families to work toward the ideal in relationships set forth in the Holy Scripture; Providing tools to couples and families for improving their relationship with each other and with God in Christ Jesus.
Media Ministry
Freedom Temple Ministries’ Media Ministry utilizes available media technology to create an atmosphere conducive to the free flowing of worship and praise unto God. The ministry uses print, audio and visual media to support and enhance the worship experience. They provide support services to the ministers, ministry leaders and staff, in an effort to provide another tool to enhance the spiritual growth of members and visitors alike. Our volunteers work together to spread God’s word in a relevant way.
Music Ministry
The Music Ministry of Freedom Temple Ministries is a body of believers who have answered the clarion call to Music Ministry. Under the direction of the Ministry of Music, these groups of psalmists, musicians, and worship leaders have dedicated their lives to ushering God’s people beyond the veil into the presence of His Majesty.
New Believer’s Orientation
The New Believers Ministry is committed to aiding new believers in their spiritual walk by providing the necessary tools to foster their development through the use of biblical principles. Individuals who have recently accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior will receive instructions that enable them to establish a solid foundation in their new walk with Christ. New Member’s Orientation
WELCOME New Member! We greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ! Welcome to your new church family, “Freedom Temple Ministries”. We have designed a New Member Orientation Program to introduce members to the mission, goals, and objectives of Freedom Temple. Different aspects of the ministry are discussed.
New Members Orientation Ministry are here to nurture, embrace, and welcome you; to provide effective, professional, quality information and resources to you; to make a lasting; positive impression on you to signify the heart of our Pastor and First Lady’s love and pastoral care; and to assist you in becoming “planted” into the mainstream of our church body and to help you “Walk in Freedom”.
Praise Dancers
This ministry is designed to offer praise to God through Liturgical Dance. This ministry is open to both children and adult groups.
Praise Team
The men and women of Freedom’s Praise Team are committed to lifting up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Come and experience high and mighty praise every Sunday morning.
Sunday School Ministry
Through School school our members are empowered to grow in their personal devotion, spiritual development, and knowledge of God’s Word. Sunday School provides a setting in which the Church has the unique opportunity to reach and teach people of all ages and from all walks of life about Jesus Christ. The Sunday School Superintendent leads and oversees the ministry of the Sunday school classes. The Superintendent ensures proper staffing, training and operation of the Sunday school departments.
Task Force Team and Security Ministry
The Security and Freedom Task Team is responsible for providing a safe and tranquil environment in which to worship. This staff of workers is strategically placed throughout the facility as “watchmen on the wall” to guard and maintain order. The Security team is responsible for the overall security of the church facilities and to the people of Freedom. They patrol church building and property during regular church services and major functions. Report any incidents to proper authorities. Write a report of any related facts.
Transportation Ministry
The Freedom Temple Transportation Ministry is an outreach ministry designed to provide shuttle services to members of the church. At Freedom Temple, we take seriously our stewardship of providing quality Christian transportation to our members. Our services are also extended to picking up and dropping off college students.
Usher Ministry
The Ushers serve as doorkeepers in the house of the Lord. Ushers’ help the church run more efficiently during worship services. They greet everyone with a warm welcome. The Usher’s Ministry is an extension of God’s hands to the people. The Ministry of Ushering is a personal representation of Jesus Christ who meets people on a person-to-person basis. The ushers serve as watchmen, servants, disciplinarians and host, just to name a few. The usher will regularly participate in worship services and will assist with literature distribution; welcoming, directing and seating guests and others as needed.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
This Ministry provides creative and fun resources to inspire teachers and parents alike to develop strong character in children. To help children and adults to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ by “Making the Bible Come Alive through a week of consecrated study”.
Women’s Ministry
This ministry provides a setting where the women of Freedom Temple Ministries can edify each other through the Word, fellowship, and prayer while simultaneously dealing with issues that are unique and relevant in the lives of women. The Freedom Temple Women’s Ministry crosses economic status, education, religious, age, and racial lines to get to the heart of the matter. Although we are different individually, collectively we are one in the Spirit.
Voices of Freedom Choir
The focus of the Music Ministry is God Himself. The choir directors, musicians, and singers seek to lead the body of Christ in worship, praise and bring glory to the Lord. The Voices of Freedom minister to all people in songs so that Jesus Christ would be lifted up
Youth/Children Praise Dancers
The All Access Youth Praise Dancers under the leadership of All Access is a performing dance group that seeks to use dance as a means of expression and creativity among women and men of all shapes and sizes. This group uses various types of dance styles to accurately depict the influences that shape dance.
Youth Usher Board
The Youth Usher Board under the leadership of All Access is comprised of youth that enjoy serving in several capacities while maintaining the order of All Access services. Youth ushers serve each 2nd and 3rd Sunday during All Access worship service, during each 1st and 5th Sunday during adult worship service, as well as during 4th Sunday Takeover service.
Young Adult Ministry
The Freedom Temple Young Adult Ministry under the leadership of All Access seeks to train, equip, empower, and connect young-adult Christians (at all levels of the church) for the development of spiritual, social, and economic needs of young adults in the church and beyond.
Young Voices of Freedom
The Youth / Children Choir under the leadership of All Access enriches the service and lends a refreshing sound that resonates in the hearts of those who join us in praise through song. The All Access Choir/Praise Team is composed of youth who love to spread the Gospel through music. The Choir and Praise Team minister each 4th Sunday during All Access Takeover.
