Kara Byars serves as the Executive Administrator of Freedom Temple Ministries where her responsibilities are to see to the administrative needs of the ministry and ministry leaders. Kara brings a wealth of service and administrative experience from her years of service in the United States Marine Corps and her years of working in corporate America.
Kara is a native of New Hampshire and a transplant from California. She enjoys exploring and learning about different cultures and regional diversity.
Kara graduated from York Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Arts, and she is also pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a certification in non-profit management from Winthrop University. She is happily married to Elgin Byars, and they are the proud parents of two beautiful sons, Javien and Zakai.
