Bry-Anne Jones

Youth and Young Adult Pastor

Bry-Anne E. Jones hails from Wadmalaw Island, SC, a sea island off the coast of Charleston. A church kid at heart, Bry-Anne was introduced to Christ at an early age and began serving in ministry shortly thereafter. As a child and a teen, she served (either as a volunteer or by being “voluntold”) in various areas of ministries at the church she credits with laying her spiritual foundation, New Bethlehem Baptist Church. It was there, as a member of the sunbeam and youth choirs and a youth speaker and leader, she found her voice.

During her freshman year at Winthrop University, Bry-Anne rededicated her life to Christ. She later joined the newly founded Freedom Temple Ministries, Inc., during her senior year of college and has served God and this ministry faithfully for the past 23 years. Her previous assignments have included, The FTM Dance Team, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Leader, Director of the Sisterhood Ministry (now known as the Women’s Ministry), and Director of the Intercessory Prayer Team.

Bry-Anne, who believes wholeheartedly that true Freedom can only be found in Christ, obeyed God’s call into ministry and in May of 2013, she was officially licensed as a minister. She was ordained as an Elder, almost ten years later in March of 2023 and in September 2024, she was installed as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor of FTM.

As a servant-leader, Bry-Anne’s passion for ministering to the whole person goes beyond the church walls. A former Police Officer and Victims’ Advocate, Bry-Anne, holds Clinical Social Work licenses in North and South Carolina. She currently works as a therapist and the Clinical Director of a College Mental Health Center. She is also the founder of  Live.Move.Be , an empowerment organization for women and she is in the process of launching LMB Consultants.

This advocate, encourager, teacher, mentor, and intercessor is an aunt to many. She enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, crafting, reading, tending to her plants, and binge-watching old-school sitcoms.  Bry-Anne is a witness that “whom the Son sets free is free indeed”, she also “refuses to be bound in a place called Freedom.”
