
Kimberly D. Benn is a take-charge visionary, author, and ministry leader who expertly balances career, ministry, and family. In March 2019, Kimberly released her memoir, “THIS August: Coming Out of the Blind Spot.” Kimberly shares her story with rarely witnessed transparency, and because of that, people gravitate to her.
Kimberly is a native of the Bronx, New York. She relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina, in the fall of 2006 for career purposes, but God had other ministry plans. Her early education foundation was in the private Parochial and Catholic schools of the Bronx, New York. She studied undergraduate at IONA College in New Rochelle, NY, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Humanities. Upon relocating to Charlotte, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from Queen City Bible College. Kimberly founded Naomi’s Posture, Inc., a women’s ministry in Charlotte, North Carolina. Naomi’s Posture‘s heartbeat encourages and inspires women to stand firm on what God said despite life’s unexpected interruptions.
On March 26, 2023, Kimberly was elevated to the role of Elder in The Lord’s church under Bishop Herbert C. Crump Jr. Then, on September 15, 2024, she was appointed Assistant Pastor at her beloved Freedom Temple Ministries in Rock Hill, SC where Robert Capers is the Senior Pastor.
Kimberly’s Spiritual Father, Pastor Carlton C. Spruill, Senior Pastor of Allen Memorial Church of God in Christ Family Life Center, Mt. Vernon, New York, ministered the life-changing Word, “The place where two seas meet.” Kimberly believes she survived her transition, and you will navigate yours!
